This is the miniatures site of Heike Eckes.
My "little" brother got me hooked on painting miniatures by his numerous roleplaying and fantasy games.
Starting as a stopgap measure for my brother it soon grew more complex and fun when I started to paint
for friends and myself as well.
The painting was a perfect diversion from my study, I can relax very well by painting miniatures.
After finishing my study I had very little time but since autum 2002 I'm into it again. If you want to know more about me visit my homepage: www.heikeslair.net.
The number of pictures will from now on grow continuously. The "fresh" miniatures will all appear here. There is only a selection from the
older ones, because I dont have pictures of all of them.
The following categories have developed so far:
- Fantasy (the majority of the pictures is in this section)
- Science Fiction (and Warhammer 40000)
- Miscellaneous (the rest not fitting in the other categories)
- Diorama (pictures of my dioramas)
At the moment I am working on my entry to Confrontation. My Wolfen army consist of 9 proud members, which are still unpainted.
When they are ready they will appear here as well.
